the use of hydraulic and hydrological models can solve the need of officials to reduce flood damage for a specific area, and if they have time and cost limitations, it can Use optimization algorithms to solve this problem, In such a way that according to the available cost and budget, in the shortest time by linking the simulation and optimization models, they reach the desired logical and reasonable answer and reduce the amount of damages to the lowest possible amount. For this purpose, the combined hydraulic model SWMM has been used to determine the flood trends in canals and canals. From the combination of SWMM model and NSGA-II multi-objective meta-exploratory algorithm, the optimal dimensions of the flood channel have been determined, and the analyzes related to the minimization of costs and the prevention of water runoff have been performed in the computational network. The results show that in the return period of 50 years, in the first case (only changes in the height and width of the bridges), there is a 34.2% reduction, and in the second case (changes in the height and width of the canal + bridges), up to a 100% reduction in the amount of water leakage from the network is obtained, which shows the superiority of both cases compared to the case without The design is shown.
