Abstract

Assessment of irrigation system performance for identifying current condition, managing, improving irrigation networks and systems is necessary in each region. Evaluation of Qazvin irrigation network with some indexes based on product cost per water and land factors showed that output per irrigated neat and cropped area 1179-1891 and 1633-1768 $/hac and output per unit irrigated supply 0.65 to 1.1 US$/m3.  Comparing results in three regions of Takestan, Qazvin and Boen Zahra indicated that in the Takestan due to overwater will not be suitable in the future, while the rest of areas showed water requirement and deficit irrigation condition. The Financial self-sufficiency indicated that this ratio will provide about one-third of all operating costs and protect by operators and dependence on government resources. Gross investment return index for network simulation was 101 percent what expresses the performance of the network is economical. The results indicated that neat value of products due to increasing the wheat price and the wheat guaranteed price is 59.98 M$. The water consumes management is poor due to a few contributions of operators in management. It is necessary to contribute operators with using irrigation new methods and farming methods, water consume condition and irrigation efficiency in Qazvin irrigation network will improve.
